The ratchet was made in china right? Does that include the serrated blade or did the swiss make a lot and send it over for 'assembly' it sort of looks to be the same size blade as 91mm knives (or though it might be a 108mm?)

It really comes home to me that i am not a collector, I think its cool to have all the soldier variations but i just don't understand having a soldier and a first production run usa soldier. Other than them telling you its the first run is there anything that acually distinguish it? Whats stops someone from buying a soldier and then laser etchig it with 1 of 1000 and selling it i the future?

(i poke fun at you all the time in my posts all the time chako but i do like all your saks)

If memory serves me well (I'm too lazy to get off my bum and check) the blade on the Sports Ratchet is the same size as found in the Swiss Tool.

I was surprised by the WorkChamp XL. I'd considered it just to be a collectors piece but when you hold it you realise its not actually too big to use.  I guess that's why Vic. make a pouch for it.

Nice line-up Chako :tu:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Well Santos, if I was not a collector, I probably might have one 111mm knife at most...if that.   :)

You are right, there is no difference other then the blade inscription...but that inscription means a lot to a collector.

The WorkChamp XL is definitely useable in size and weight. It is about the same size and weight of a large MT. If you don't need full sized pliers, the XL gives you an astonishing amount of tools that are larger then those found in a plier based MT.

The blade on the SportRatchet is an oddity. It fits between the length of a 108mm knife, and a 91mm knife. The profile is odd as well for a Victorinox blade.

That's a superb collection Chako. :tu:

I'm no expert but I think the one you have down as a Forester (No9) is actually a Hunter.
