I've got the same stuff (from the same source I suspect :)) and it works very well.  The needle tip means you can put it exactly where you want without wasting any.   That said I used to use 3-in-1 and never had a problem with that either, just a little more messy in application.

Hate to say this as it makes me sound like a mean moderator, but do a search as this topic frequently comes up.  :tu:

I just use WD40 on my tools.  My SAK's and folders get far better treatment.
I'm back!!

I find WD40 on Leathermans and a 3-in-1 type oil on Vics works for me .

Good ol' squirrel piss, as we like to call it around here, on my leathermans.

(That's WD-40, for you non-locals) :D

Mineral oil: it has no smell, is cheap, and readily available.

You can find it in the pharmacist section of the store, or in drugstores, (or "chemists" as they say in the UK).

Rem Oil , or CLP Break Free . I wouldn't lube a dog's organ of generation with WD . It was designed for water displacement , end of story . It gets gummy , and has an affinity for dust and pocket crud .

It can also be safely injested for those who like to "kiss" their mult-tool.  Although I think it's a bit of a laxative. :D

I also received some nano-oil from our friend across the pond.  This stuff is great!  Thanks again, John!

Mainly....

Soft and Silk Baby Oil: Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamin E, Acetate, Fragrance.
Johnson's Baby Oil, Lavender scent: Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Fragrance
Burt's Bee Baby Bee Oil: Ingredients: prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, tritium vulgare (wheat) germ oil, tocopheryl acetate, fragrance, tocopherol, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, glycine soja (soybean) oil, canola oil
Buddha Baby Oil: Ingredients Prunus amygadulas dulcis (sweet almond) oil and Lavendula augustofolia (lavender) oil.
Baby Moon Oil: Ingredients: Lavender, tangerine and "other" essential oils, in sweet almond and olive oils.

... but there's normally a little something else lobbed in.

OK, so you get funny smelling MT's.  I didn't say it was a perfect plan. :D

I use RemOil w/ Teflon. Same with my folding knives. I also use the Radio Shack Precision Oiler w/ PTFE (Teflon). It is thicker than RemOil and I use it when I don't want to get RemOil "everywhere"  ;). Plus the needle tip makes it convenient to apply lube where you want it. The Precision Oiler is used more when my knives are apart and putting them back together. RemOil is used when I want to just add lube without taking things apart. RemOil, since it is thinner, gets into the joints faster then the RS Precision Oiler.
