Yup Just got a new Laptop this past week and it came with it. Loving the platform, and not that I am at all computer savy, it  is a very easy system to use.

So your XP system runs Win7 just fine?  Did you reformat or replace the drive?

I actually had an extra drive so I did a clean install on that one, then wiped my XP drive. All my hardware works fine.

I was an XP lover for sure.
Skipped Vista.
I think Seven is a really solid improvement over XP
Plus going to x64 mean more RAM, in my case 8gb.
Photoshop & Dreamweaver now open cold in 10 seconds....re-open in 2 seconds.
Next step SSD

Heh,

Last year (2008), I wiped my Vista laptop and fresh installed XP with no regrets.  :P

Nope, I use Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop and my wife uses Windows XP Pro on her laptop. A good saying is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". ;)

our laptop came preloaded with vista, missed out on the free upgrade by 1 week  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh  :twak:

my desktop also came preloaded with Vista, I had the drive partitioned and within 2 days was running completely off Ubuntu (8.04 at the time I think!) currently 9.10
