I have a 6p that I bought at a Flea Market during the summer.. The tailcap spring is off; and a technician is the only one that can put it back on... Oh, and the lens is cracked and has some white residue? Anyways, I emailed Surefire this morning; and they got back to me and said this: "Dear Sir,

Please provide us with a current address and contact phone number and we will have a replacement bezel and tailcap sent for your 6P.

Yup I broke the lens on my G2 Ked by thowing it at a coworker. I told them I did it and sent me a new one. In fact the note in it said not to do it anymore!

I got the replacement bezel and tailcap today!! Now, I have to get rid of the incandescent lamp and buy the LED version.. I saw one on DealExtreme.com for under $10, but I don't know about it's quality!

I had a good experience with Surefire recently my 6p bulb burned out sooner than it should have and they sent me a new one. Also call them don't email them if you have any problems.

I don't know if I mentioned this in another thread, but anyways, Surefire customer service is A+

I had bought a Outdoorsman and spares carrier from batteryjunction.com a while back and the O ring on the spares carrier was missing.  I emailed battjunction, and they checked a few more they had, and they were missing the O rings to!  They said they'd contact Surefire about it..but I figured I woulden't see an O ring (defeating the purpose of the waterproof spares carrier

But what is this?  A week or two later there's a padded envelope directly from Surefire with my O ring!

They the Nuts! Sent me a new head for my G2 when i dropped it off a catwalk way up. No problem.

They sound pretty cool. Don't get service like that very often.

Sure fire is a company that charges bucoup prices, but the stuff is really backed up by them big time. Plus you can get some cheeper lights like the G2 series from them.

Maglite's customer service is great too. The switch stopped working on my 2C Maglite and they sent me a new one.
