sometimes, but replace "come home with" with "get in the post", given that it is impossible to find multi's for a reasonable price in brick and mortar stores here.
Come home with a new multi-tool and look it over for hours, oil it carefully, "fine tune it", check over the sheath?Repeatedly open all the blades, and check 'em out, testing the sharpness and quality. Looking for any defects, find little surprising things on the tool? And generally appreciate the way the designers and engineers squeezed all that into there?I do this with not only new tools, but with my whole collection, reminiscing about when I bought it, who I was with, the memories and people associated with the tool, it makes me feel god, old but good.
That is plain ridiculous , crazy . I like to see if the wire cutters can cut paper
Same here-today I received Squirt S4, spent next 30 min cutting paper and cleaning oil residue & some sticky stuff on the nail file and tweezers
