i said it in another forum but... WTF victorinox??? South AFRICA?

i write and write and voice my opinion and tell others to voice their opinions on getting more colored alox released and what do they do? first, they tell me they dont like to make colored alox because it wears faster... and then i think, in a move just to spite me, release them in the farthest opssible contry possible....

they are gorgeous though :D

This is what makes collecting Victorinox knives interesting and fun,if ALL the knives were available at your local corner store it would make collecting them pretty boring soon, this way your collection is never complete and your always on the hunt for something new in some part of the world.
Around here getting a 111mm OH plain edge is near impossible as they all are serrated, same with the coloured Alox Cadets and the StayGlo  Climber and the list just keeps going on,for me that's the fun in collecting these knives.

My guess is you could be up to your armpits in 111mm OT plain edges if you wanted to start shipping some colored Pioneers to the US  :D

Well finally they arrived and they look stunning, the Orange is basically the same as the Orange on the 58mm Classic Alox, nice and bright, the green is a bit darker but still very nice.

and a group shot, hopefully they'll make a Purple one soon

I think they are only available from this one store,I phoned around yesterday and nobody else seems to be able to get them even though they use the same supplier.
