My Surefire Flashlights
on: February 07, 2010, 06:46:58 PM
Just thought I would post a pic of my Surefire's.  They are as addicting as Multi's, knives, watches, bags, pens, etc. :D

I  have a Malkoff m60 drop-in, in one of the 6p's.  I carry that in my work truck.

The G2 was an incan, but I swapped it out with the led from the 6p that has the m60 in it.

The yellow one is a G2D-FYL.  Has three outputs and came with three different diffusers.

Thanks guys!

The G2D-FYL is great.  Just got it 4 days ago, but I love it already.  It's a great house light with the diffusers.  Lights up a whole room with no hot spot.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between the two upper levels (to the naked eye), so I just use the medium level to save on battery life.

The low level is enough for most close up work, but the medium level is great for moving around the house.

Of course I turn off all the lights in the house and just use the torch to move around. :D  My wife gives me her usual eye rolling ::) but I ignore it. :D

Viking,

Nice selection of SF's you got. I guess I'll throw my little SF collection up as well. Eye-candy is always good!  ;)

I've only seen two or three episodes, but the one I did see, they were using a Surefire M4 Devastator.

Wow, that thing is a bit of a beast Viking!

I think I've seen them commonly using smaller lights... maybe about 6" at a guess, with a slightly smaller head. No doubt it's something else I can't afford and shouldn't even be thinking about anyway :D

I'm a great fan of Surefire , they rate their outputs conservatively , interfaces are simple . They may not always use the Emitter / LED de Jour , but their stuff is pretty bulletproof , and best warranty out there .

BTW , you got to get an E1B , backup is a missnomer , fine little duty lite !

Caught an episode last night.  They were using Streamlight Scorpions.  It may be what you are thinking about.
