Only at $31 at the moment.  Someone might be able to snag a bargain.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

$120 now - no longer a bargain (or even reasonable IMO).  :-\

A year or two ago I would agree, now  now I'm not so sure.  There are now more collectors out there but not more of the rare SAKs.

Yeah, you're probably right. Something is worth what someone will pay for it, in the end. However, I think this is another case of "new guy starts collecting and needs all the 'rare' SAKs mentioned here". Shuttles are not really that rare (comparatively) - this is the 6th one I've seen for sale in the last 3 months. I think it just presents well - like red alox. There are a lot of SAK variations out there that are considerably more rare than that - and sell for 1/4 of the price because of a lack of visibility.

Never forget the allure of having a bit of space hardware inlaid in the front.  Some folks are a sucker for that kind of thing.... I know I am :D

Indeed, although mine isn't too much cheaper, it's in just as good shape, minus having a box; honestly, I wish I could charge less for mine, but if I were to do that, I'd not break even and wouldn't be able to go to as many shows and oogle the knives and guns and the random cute girl who shows up at the shows. >.>  XD

Helpful hint 107... there are probably better places to find cute girls than gun shows :P  (though the ones you do find are probably going to be fun ;) )

Yours is at a very reasonable price and if I didn't already have one I'd have no problem spending that :tu: .... though perhaps not this month :D

Another couple of things to consider on this is the auction currently running is for a NIB model. Now think, how many NIB Shuttle models are going to be for sale at any given time? I think not many.

The current high bid is held by a eBay newbie with only a "3" in feedback BUT, the second highest bid is by a long time collector and buyer of SAK's with over 1600 in feedback. I have dealt with this collector and as far as I know they are not a member of this or any other SAK forum.

Just a couple of thoughts about the high price of this and other SAK collectibles on the open market.

To be fair, I only said oogle, i.e. mentally say to myself "ooh, she's cute," beyond that, no.  I'm happily taken, hehe. :)  And thank you for the confirmation that my Shuttle is at a good price; I honestly try not to charge too much, yet still have enough in it for myself as to where I make up on gas and time spent going to the shows. *noddles* :)

There ain't nothing wrong with trying to make a bit of profit Sazabi mate. The "market" (I hate that term) will decide if it's priced too high, and judging by some of these ebay auctions, yours clearly isn't!
I used to come here a lot.

The only reason why I need to make some "profit" is to cover gas and the entrance fee to the gun and knife shows, really. *shrugs* :/

Ditto :(

Nothing wrong with making a profit Sazabi, the capitalist model may have its flaws but I'll take it over the alternatives :)
