I was just going to say Dunc that aint no can opener mate .The plier handle is indeed a pry bar(light duty) , I will see if I can find my copy of the SOG literature that came with my NIB one. I really like the look of the early ones small secondary blade/can opener . My ToolClip is a latter model, I do have a knock off that is a almost identical version of the first addition & I do like that little blade .Great pick up Dunc , & no import duties fees .(Image removed from quote.) Late model on top, direct first model copy on the bottom.I would be interested to hear what you think of the file Dunc , not sure if having a very sharp serrated knife edge on a file is such a great idea
I spent a good while googling the toolclip and of course most of the info is on here I found two references to back springs breaking . One guy is a member here jeo567 but was last active in nov 07 and was looking for a replacement for his fathers and the other was a guy who had two springs break . Was this a common fault or maybe the only weak spot on the ToolClip ?Dunc

I wonder how many people from this website are bidding on the Tool Clip that is on a auction site right now. LOL I won a Pat pending version this weekend for $41. The one that's currently on sale is also a Pat pending but it's already up to $41 with 3 days to go. I hate bidding on MTs because I know whenever I'm bid and win I disappointed someone from this site I'm going to keep my eyes open for a 2nd version of this tool. My collection of SOG MTs is almost complete

My tool clip came today. It's pretty, I had a question though. There is a metal sleeve over my file and serrated age, It's removable and all, it looks like it was made to protect the edge. I've never heard of these. So I was wondering did the tool clip come with it new?
I keep having these thoughts in my head about trading it Dunc
I really like that second pic.
They're great aren't they..? Thanks for sharing..
