Trouble is (imo) fixie's only really work in places like London where it's flat :-\

Inclines must be a nightmare to go down :-\. On the other hand they are supposed to climb well :)

they climb great mike, but yes going down is a little hairy, i lived in watford before moving down here 10 years ago, it was flatter there, although some places in the sticks was hilly, you have to use the strength in your legs to control the speed, you can lock up the back wheel pretty easy, plus great for track stands at lights rocking back and forth,
Trust me I definitely will build one at some point, as they look a lot of fun :)

There just a bit pointless given the epic nature of the hill's around here :-\

for me coming from a bmx background i like the simplicity of a fixie, ive still got my old track frames in the shed and one day i will build another one, but i think i will look at it more than ride it
I ran a BMX until recently, and for about 6 months :) And yeah the simplicity's a real boon :)

Certainly I doubt I had to do any maintenance on it the entire time I had it :)

i ran my old 95 kons kilauea as a single speed for about 2 years, but once the girls came along i had to fit it back with gears due to pulling the trailer, im not super man  but i did prefere it as a SS .
Did you break the trailer ???

Me and my boy did while Jumping kerb's when he was four ::) :D

no mate ive had the trailer since coral was 3 and she is 10 now, the girls love going out in it now, i use to take coral for 40 mile off road adventures , she loved it getting covered in dirt , was fun but then i was so much fitter then,
We're getting old mate :D

yep, i just need to get out on more rides, hopefully this wed  :tu:
Pic's :pok: :pok: :D

thought you had to go mike  yes i will take plenty of pics, plus ill throw a few MT's in there  ;)
