I've not used them, but I came across the deal on Gadling, which hasn't led me wrong yet. :)

these are good watches , the only thing i find is there pretty small, it depends on wht size of watch you like wearing, i prefer watches around the 40-42mm size, bargain price , i did have a digi one but again didnt like its scale, always a size thing with us guys  ;)

Poo, your comment on their small size, zed, may make me get one, I think... each of the five expensive chronometers I've been gifted are quite large on me, and even my current (cheap) Casio is large... maybe this will be what I need, especially since my current "beater" Casio's band has holes at both the "too large" and "too tight" spots, but not dead-on. :/

Nah, I don't need one, especially since my current Casio works fine.  Still, I would like to find alternative bands for it, such as along the likes of the Zulu/Maratac watch bands. :/

Hey, I weigh all of 120 pounds... I'd not look right with too much bulk; with that said, can I even add Zulu or Nato bands to the cheaper, retro-looking Casios? :/

if there a model with a standard type fitting then yes, nato's etc come in many sizes 18mm-24mm there better as go right through , so if one spring bar fail's the other will save your watch, i custom fit fixed bars on my watches so not to have spring bar problem's it restricts you to nato's etc but then i prefer these straps ,  :tu:

Spring bars... fixed bars...  :think:  I have a Casio DW-5600E, which CC's G-Shock Band Adapter fits... is that what I "need" to replace the band, or what?  ^^;

I'm sorry, Zack. :/ Err, no idea about this place, but they have it for $20 with $4.95 shipping. :/

Is there any way to add fixed bars to a Casio of my type, Zed, or would I have to go for one of those fugly adapters?  If that's the case, I'd probably just sell the Casio and keep on looking for a good beater watch. :/

Yeah, that's the watch, Zed; I'll give it a bit of thought as to what I want to do, and try to figure out what size Phillips screwdriver I'd need to remove the bands and protective casing - none of my screwdrivers fit the tiny slots. ^^;  Thanks Zed. :)
