I just got mine today. Me smells a fake. Will post photos very soon. I just have to take them.

It is fake.  Gerber confirmed and know about these guys and are currently looking into a law suit.  I am in negotiations w/the seller to get my money back.  They seem very concerned w/bad feedback, so I told them I'd give them good feedback as long as I could just get my money back.  He agreed, but now we are haggling over him paying for the postage back and me giving feedback AFTER I get my refund, not before like he wants, lol.  I plan on getting my money back, giving good feedback, then forwarding all my email threads to ebay as proof of how he coerced good feedback from me by with holding my refund.  Hopefully they will then cancel his account all together.

I will say though, that is a good fake.  even the pic in their ad that seems to come from Gerber's site is doctored.  If you look closely, you'll notice that one side is missing the Remington saw that the DET should have.  I've actually been to the website that they took that page picture from and only by comparing the two pages, would I know that they doctored the page on their ad.

Yes, I have looked at their website they use as well and knew it was doctored once I got the tool in today. I sort of knew it was a knock off (wasn't sure until I got it in my hands), and thus, I am not going after my money. Yes, it is rather well made to be honest. I think it is worth the little I paid for it. Gerber I am sure will want these guys bad though. Processing the photos right now and will soon be posted.

You sure you don't want your money back?  I also spoke with eBay and they want me to try and work it out with the seller first but if I cannot, ebay will refund my full costs.

Though, with the way you collect these things, I can see you possibly wanting to add a knock off to your collection! :rofl:

Gerber doesn't do OEM to my knowledge. In this case, it means not a Gerber but a fake designed to dupe the unwary.
