Their litigatious tendencies sound some what similar to those of Mr. Maglica of Mag instruments fame .

Ok, so one more question: What would be your preferred first SF for EDC? I liked the E1B as well as the E2D - for I normally wear cargo pants size does not matter that much. But for what I read on the net, the G2L might be a better choice - cheaper, still durable and bright enough. Damned, guess it is a "take all" question once again  >:(

Mine is the E1B , all I want , nothing I don't want . The L1/L1x is another good one . The other bonus is that the E1B isn't a pocket wrecker . I prefer not to EDC 2 cell lights . I find the E1B works for me as both an EDC lite and a work/tactical . When I use the E1B in a more outdoorsy context , i use it in conjunction with the Scout light Z58 switch ( it enables tail standing ) .

My EDC is a Surefire A2 and has been for months.  I like the 2 cell size and the clip on it is superb.  The biggest plus for me though is the incan & LED.  The LED does the indoor work and the incan does the outside.  Due to me being colourblind the incan gives me far better colour rendition than any LED can.
I'm back!!

The A2 is a superb lite , used to rock one back in 03-04 . My former apprentice still rocks one , his Bro is currently using it backpacking in Centeral America .

It was /is a ground breaking design .

Got my very first Surefire today, a used E1B. Nice little light, really well made. Not brighter than my cheap (but good) Romisen brand clone of the Nitecore Defender, but far better throw. I like it, guess I´ll have to get more of them  :D
