More Kline Goodness !
on: March 09, 2010, 03:49:01 PM
At the same time I picked up the 10 fold , I also got a new pair of new Journeyman gripped needlenose pliers with a 12 ga stripping notch . These pliers are neat , they actually lighten my load , as I have found that the large Kline needlenoses can do a lot of the twisting and persuading traditionally done by linesman's pliers . The only thing that would make these more perfect would be a crimping die in the hinge .

I will deffinatley still find uses for my Linesman's pliers , but the use gets less frequent .

I believe Klein makes a model with a crimping die, I'll have to look.

EDIT: Its the Klein D203-8NCR, but only available with the regular handles.

Good choice on tools  :salute:

I have a couple of that model , problem is , I have become addicted to the Journeyman style handles .

I call the large Kline needlenoses my Ledlnoses ( Needle noses that think they are linesmans ) . For mundane destruction and twiddling , the linesman's have deen banished to the tool tote .

Even the 7" Kline needle noses are very strong .
