All depends on the individual doesn't it.  I was around seven or eight when I got my first knife but I waited until my cousin was twenty one before I gave him one :D  Then he went and cut himself with it   ::)

I was quite young when I got my first (and only) SAK
I'm not sure nowadays especially with political correctness  ::)
Oh well I will be guided by his Mum on this one (he might have to wait until 21) :D

You've still got your first SAK?  :o Lucky bugger!  Most people have a sad tale as to how it parted company from them.

What make is the electrician's knife?

I had not thought about it before but its the oldest knife I own,
On the blade,
VICTORINOX
SWITZERLAND
STAINLESS
ROSTFREI

on the other side it says
ELINOX
SWITZERLAND
STAINLESS
ROSTFREI

The Electricians knife was a gift that
was never used but it could do with a clean and an oil
looks like RS 84132233 very badly stamped on the blade
Sounds right as I think it came from RS   :salute:

Cool 8)

I wonder how old the RS one is?  RS has been on the go since the 1930s if memory serves me well.
