Non-EDC Extras Bag

I recently acquired a new bag, so I was thinking I might make a secondary "Not Every Day, but ready to go extras" bag that I could leave in the car, or take with me on extended adventures etc.

Any Suggestions for inventory?

My current thoughts are
LM Surge (which has been my EDC for the last fortnight, but I can move back to my Blast or PST)
A few twists of wire.
Some whipping twine
Some spectraspeed or dyneema/polyester rope (I'm sorry, I've tried that american cord stuff, but I find rope so much more user friendly, and easier to tie knots in)
Some first Aid stuff? Antiseptic, burn cream, bit of bandage.

Duct tape, assorted hose clamps, larger Vise Grips (locking pliers), insect repellent, work gloves.

Railroad flare (for fire starting)

Packet of thermite (never know when you're gonna need to weld something)

Small fire extinguisher

small socket set

Bit set

A lot of the tool type things - sockets, vicies, etc, I already have in my toolbox, which is rarely too far away, and I don't want to raid it too much, partially because I don't have the spare tools, and partially because I don't want to be getting them from my bag when I need them.

Second the zap straps, my gf gets outta line sometimes

For first aid, I recommend the Adventure Medical Kits "Lightweight and water-tight series, at least for ideas on what to do with your own.

This project died due to, well, crazy ass women and their spawn. Apparently families take up time and money!

Anyway, with a brief reprieve for the morning, I've grabbed a pic of a selection from my EDC and "Extras" that are kicking around my car - it's missing a few things like notepads and some of my less multi-purpose tools from the car (screwdrivers, files, etc)

I'm picking up some extra 3mm rope today, since I seem to have used all my paracord and don't like it much anyway.

Whoops, the pic also misses my Mora style knife I use for really crappy work.

Hard to say, possibly just a matter of familiarity - I've used paracord for about 6 months, I've used rope since I was about 5, so it feels better to me.
