My two beauties! Two swisstool cs bought in dec 2012. One came with red paint mark and cross on plier head and the other one WITHOUT red paint mark and cross??? Seems like a cosmetic change by Victorinox.

I prefer the cleaner look of tool without red paint mark but they could have kept the cross on the plier head.

I'm in too!  Got a Spirit X from Amazon and immediately started looking for its big brother Swiss Tool. Snagged one on eBay as a Buy It Now just after it was posted for just $40. Good seller feedback and decent pictures and everything looks to be in good shape.

Should be here within a week.

Tony

Well, I didn't know there was more than one. This has the normal looking pen blade on one handle and a serrated pen blade on the other handle. I don't see any letter designations in the photos other than the red Victorinox Swiss Tool band on the handle.

Long time no see, huh? :)

My good friend László made these pics, since he's a skilled photographer, and is even his job,so the pictures speak for themselves. :)

It just seems wrong to produce a Swisstool in black oxide for some reason...

Still don't know whether these serrated sheepsfoot knife blades are the new deal, or just a fluke that slipped through somehow?

I like having the sheepfoot blade, just in case I need to cut seatbelts in a wreck, or to cut someone's pant-leg for First-Aid without stabbing them...

But they work really great or cutting crusty bread also.

Anyone else have one of these Swisstools with the new sheepsfoot serrated blade?. If so how do you like it?.
And does it come with the thicker 2005 and newer pliers?.
