Does a Spirit count?

I got my swisstool at the fleamarket today and haven't got a chance to do much with it yet. It definitely is a larger tool and feels quite nice in the hand.  I like so far that the pliers aren't so pointy and all outside accessible tools.

I've got my first Swisstool Spirit, which is my third plier based Multitool.
With the help of all you, I made a plan for three users, a small, medium and heavy duty user multitools.
I tried to get what I thought is the best in every category.
It was the Juice Pro in the small category and the Surge with full load in the heavy duty category.
The middle Spirit was the last to buy.
What a difference from the Leathermans!
It is solid as a one piece tool.
The only play is the one I'm going to have with it myself.
It is shiny as a jewel and machined as a Swiss watch.
It is clever as any Swiss Army Knife.
More pocketable than the Juice Pro, because it is much thinner.
It is the most ergonomic, already rounded and fits the hand perfectly in both open and closed positions.
One might choose this over a Swiss Army Knife, because it has similar tools.
Simply amazing.
I still like my two Leathermans, but this is from another planet (Switzerland).

I had my first day with my swisstool and I really like the blunt(ish) pliers. I don't always need needle nose pliers and found myself grabbing things from the side to not damage the tips.  I liked the feel of the swiss tool pliers when I applied force to them. they are definitely well built and im sure I cold have squeezed a lot harder.   the implements will take a bit to remember their locations but the Philips location and the lanyard I attached will make it easy.  day one was great with this tool and tho OHO knife blades are great I carry a folder so its a non issue.  im glad I got this used because the shiny body must be quite beautiful when new and I know I wouldn't have wanted to put one scratch on it.  im going to look at the ratchet and bit set to complete this very nice tool.

YES Its very much what Victorinox has always been and that's a tool you can count on and very well made.  mine is loose at the plier pivot but its no big deal for me because I can flip this sucker open like a butter fly knife.  the bits would make a great compliment but Ive seen other options that I may pursue. over all day 2 was another winner and its up against a big weekend so we'll see if it continues to impress.

A lot has changed since 2010, which was the last time I participated in this thread. I now have a few more Swiss Tools and Spirits.

A little Leatherman information.

I wouldn't say I abuse my tools but when at work they definitely WORK.  I cant be worried about water or dirt and I always hose them off and spray with WD40 and let them sit while I load the truck. the swisstool sure is one nice tool, here she is all ready for busy 2 week run.
