It's all pretty darn funny if you ask me. Every country has it's good and not so good, things to be proud of and things to be not so proud of .... so we are all in the same boat. Good stuff!

Pirates beat ninjas (coolness factor)
SAK beat LM
And I we poke so much fun at each other on a regular basis I don't see why this would be offensive.  Heck, I agree with most of it.  :)

Rhetorical question.  You'd never see a ninja fight a pirate.  Just a ship load of dead pirates.  BUT you would never know how many ninjas were kilt in the process.

I am English but have spent most of my life in the USA. I could be offended but I'm actually amused.

I think the biggest difference between the English (perhaps not all of Europe) and Americans is that Americans want to have fun and the English want to be right.

That may be changing though. I understand that Halloween has caught on pretty well across the pond. When we first came to the States (1969) my parents had to ask the neighbors what the hell was going on.

Well, I don't recognise Britain's membership of Europe anyway, we've still got Sterling, proper beer and (relatively) sensible employment laws, so none of this has anything to do with me :tu:  :P

Oh, and a Ninja armed with a Leatherman would triumph every time. A British ninja that is. Not a European one ;)
