Hmmm, probably never gonna win but here goes  :D

I'm very interested in getting into Search and rescue, and have been a paramedic/event cover for 3 years.
This light would be very handy when working at night and when i get into SAR.

Cheers John

What part of the UK are from again ?

I'd use it at work to shine in the conduit and make sure there are no bats in there before i shove 100 feet of fishtape into it.

I'd use it at home to make sure a speedbump in the shape of a lazy beagle wasn't blocking my way to the Think n' Stink.

I'd use it on the way home to keep BigFoot, Mothman, Predator and Pedobear at bay.

How very nice of you.  I am a police sergeant that has just started day shift after 16 years on overnights.  This light would be great to carry as I do not carry a full size light, yet still work dark areas during the day (basements/closet/attic searches).  No matter who gets it, cheers to you.

I will pick the winner. Closing date is Monday 5th April. I will pay P&P and am happy to ship to Europe, USA and Canada.

I don't want you to be sad when you ship the TK10 to Asia, Millhouse. :D just kidding

I used to have a TK10. Great light!
Let me pass on this one for the moment. I have other lights in use.
Thanks for the generosity. :salute:

wow

here goes

i work maintenance for the royal mail (ooh get me) and regularly find myself in in dark nooks and crannies and ceiling spaces and basements and places where a headlamp isnt always useful they like to slide of hard hats >.< so the light would be very handy.

also im going camping in the summer hopefully and need to get a decent flash light for that  :D

please?  :pok:

lol

good luck everyone

Holy crap! Talk about a generous and tempting give away!  :tu: As much as I would LOVE to have that light as it has been on my wishlist for a good long while now, there are people in line for it that have far more legitimate uses for it than I do. I have my new EDC light in the mail so I'll pass on this one, but just wanted to give you a big  :salute: for giving away such a nice item.

If I won the light I would give it to my uncle.  He is a medic, High Angle Rescuer, police officer, and former Marine/Army National Guard.

I work in telecom, and I'm in dark basements, closets, and roofs frequently running wire and the like. Plus, I've never owned a Fenix, and I'd love to try one out, but I can't currently afford one.

Even if I don't win, thanks for the chance to enter!

I work for the State of Indiana as a Highway Incident Technician (HITMAN)
My job is basically drive up and down the highway and assist people that are stranded or have been in an accident.

I work in the early hours of the morning and a good strong light would be quite beneficial to me.

I don't have a good reason at all, so I don't qualify to participate. But thanks to Millhouse for your generosity, mate. :D There's a lot of good folk out here there can justify having a good light, so you're going to wreck your head going for the winner. :D

Re: Fenix TK10 Giveaway - We have a winner
Reply #57 on: April 06, 2010, 01:20:07 AM
It was incredibly tough picking a winner. After much thought and deliberation, I am pleased to announce that the winner is:

JohnD.

In the end, based upon projected usage, I had to decide where the TK10 would do the most good. As a paramedic and someone trying to get into SAR, John edged it.

Swiss Man, you were very close in 2nd place. If I had another TK10, I would gladly let you have it.

Thank you everyone who took part.
