Well, up until late 2017 I was primarily using wifi at the Powernoodle Compound for our laptops, Rokus, etc. Getting maybe 45 mbps. I was having constant connectivity problems with the devices. And my teenage son likes to do 1st person shooter games online that really benefit from good interweb speed. Then it dawned on me that I could run ethernet cables from the router to each of my devices. That cranked my speed way up, and then I pay an extra $25/month for faster speed. I don't need it, but I do like it. So yeah, I do have a noodle of cables running all over the ceiling of my basement that feed the various devices. I love it. I do still use wifi with four security cameras, but that's the only thing I have left on wifi so there is plenty of bandwidth. At the same time, I killed my cable tv and got DirectvNow, which saved me about $90/month. So there was a lot of positive change.

BTW, even with my pathetic bandwidth I rarely if ever have buffering on YT, and my downloads are uncapped. What do you guys use all the bandwidth for? Games?
