Do you grow in there, or just use it to 'start' things?

And that's some good lookin dirt.  I'm so tired of clay!

Thanks guys.

The last couple years we started stuff in the hoop house and moved them later on.  This year, we're going to leave them in the raised beds.  If it works well, we'll expand off the end next year.

The hoop house is a series of 1 1/4 inchX 20 ft PVC pipe, set 2 feet apart. I still need to pull the clear plastic over the shell, but that's easy.  The PVC pipe is threaded over 3 ft pieces of rebar driven into the ground about 18 inches.

Great stuff  :tu:

We're planning something like that on a biggish scale soon. Maybe we'll even have a summer this year to enable a little growing round here!
