Very nice Ben.   I don't like the look of "normal" tactical pens but there's nothing wrong with that at all.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

The OU course calls for a new pen. This thing is like a SRB with a refil in. Can't compare it with other 'tactical' pens cos' I've never seen or used any of em' before - just a little treat for meself.

recommend me a good & small keychain pen please. I want to take my midnight minichamp off my key chain & possibly replace with squirt e4. Should I just go with a Vic signature or one of these which is shorter than the space pen http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YH5V9O/ref=s9_simh_gw_p229_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1XSS67TVWXSQ2GEKWHNP&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846

My Namiki Vanishing Point Fountain Pen!  Love this thing and it writes smoother than my Mont Blanc, Waterman and Lamy fountain pens

I'd say so.

I've got a Lamy Safari fountain pen and a Lamy Scribble pencil, and both are very high quality, definitely worth the money if you want that kind of pen!

I also have a Lamy Safari fountain pen and now a Lamy Joy, through a trade here.  Like them both!  Hey Addicted, are you into fountain pens?  This one is my absolute favorite because it writes so smooth...like buttah!

better than my mont blanc, waterman, parkers, lamys, etc.

I've always preferred fountain pens because of the way they glide over the page, as opposed to ballpoint pens, were you need to press them down onto the page.

I just remembered that I lost my Lamy Safari recently! I might try out the AL-star (same as the Safari but with an aluminium body).

As much as I love pens and am extremely picky about the, I have never tried a fountain pen.  Any recommendations about a fairly cheap, quality pen that I could try out?   They always seemed like a bit of a hassle to me.  But maybe I have the wrong idea.  And can you get them in fine point?  I'm a pen snob in that I prefer (and often won't use) anything that's not fine point.   :-[

I'd have to agree.   Run you about $30.00 if I remember right and thats a great price for a quality fountain.

My favorites (and almost only users, except for a couple random older pens) are the Zebra F-301s, with two F-301 Compacts as backups/shirt pens. :D
