my driver/socket adapter mod,
on: April 12, 2010, 02:14:09 PM
After looking at alot of the adapters for the LM range and as i mainly carry my wave while cycling , i decided to modifie a extension to fit the waves bit driver,Im sure this has been done many times as was a pretty easy mod, but now i can use normal driver bits, allen keys, and sockets so more useful for cycling,  :tu:

here are some pics,

Nice one mate.  :tu:

One thing I would be careful off is how much torque you give it when in use.
I'm back!!

Yes, becareful you don't over-torque your nuts, on the bike.

You had to know this answer was forthcoming.

  yes i will watch my nuts  :D  in more ways than one  :ahhh

but yeah i realise i would have to watch torque, although this mainly would only be used for a quick road side repair. but it seems it would solve a few problems, i might see if i can get a smaller one as well,

Nice mod Paul  :tu:
But how about getting one of these Versa drivers?
They are well made and small enough to carry around with you
I reckon it will stand up to a lot of stick
Everything’s adjustable
