looking at them next to each other i still cant see why LM didnt put a clip on the pst, other than width there very similar size tools,

I think it's simply evolution in progress that you can see there Paul. The Sideclip appeared some 15 years after the PST and the clip was simply a new idea

  yeah i see it dave, just a shame the pst was never offered with a clip , but as you say evolution
