For many years the only multi tool I have owned has been a Gerber MP400. Some years back, I managed to break the small screwdriver. I finally decided to send it back to see if they would repair it.
In less than 2 weeks I had a brand new MP400 in my hand. I can't recall any company handling warranty work that fast!
Just a side note- my new Gerber has a different knife blade in it. It looks more like the blade in a Diesel. The odd thing is that it is mounted on the left side of the handle, but the nail nick is on the right side of the blade next to the philips driver. It is a little hard to get to, but I like the new blade better as a complement to whatever knife I'm carrying (right now an old Case Sodbuster).
On another note- the Gerber MP600 Pro-Scout and Grappler are on my wish list. I like doing business with folks that treat their customers like Gerber treated me.
