what about awls?!?!  the sog awl is infinitely more dangerous than a sheepsfoot blade.  also a saw could also cause some serious havoc.  We must know where the lines are drawn!! :ahhh

Knifeless EDC as in a knifeless MT accompany a knife, or entirely knifeless EDC? I've thought about modding my LM fuse with saw and file since I never use the knife on a MT, but an entirely knifeless EDC? No way.

Yeah, are we talking about knifeless EDC or knifeless MT here?  I would always have a knife as part of my EDC, but it wouldn't really matter to me if it was a tool in my MT.

There are more dangerous things in my EDC than a knife, anyway.

If they outlaw any slip-joint SAK, then the world has gone crazy and it's time to let the leadership of SOSAK take over!  I could never go anywhere without at least one of my SAK's.  I promise I could do more damage with my hands than a 2.5 inch blade on my cybertool 34.  I agree with the AWL argument, they are much more dangerous when wielded correctly, because you won't know it's coming at you until it is in you.   They are easier to conceal than any (ok, except small spyderco's) blade and you can hold them tighter with your hand until you need to use them.  I promise I am not a psycho, I am in Security with a large resort and we look for stuff like this.  I would much rather take on an assailant with a knife: he only has one hand because it is not likely that he is trained with the knife so he will be holding it wrong and will not be drawing focus away from it.  A guy with an awl can hide the whole thing in his fist until you give him an opening, and in goes the awl!  Ouch!
