I thought the centurion had a linerlock versus the adventurer which was a sidelock.
The main differences between the two models are:The Centurion has a linerlock which also blocks the screwdriver/bottleopener, the Adventurerhas a sidelock. The screwdriver/bottleopener on the Centurion is larger. The awl on the Centurion has no hole.Regarding the numbers, Centurion and Adventurer don't have the same model number. The number of the Centurion is 0.8453.3, the number of the Adventurer is 0.8953.The number on models with sidelocks starts with 0.88 , 0.89 or 0.90, the number of thelinerlock models starts with 0.83 or 0.84.
Thank you, but I'm not an expert at all. I own some SAKs, and I looked into the catalog on the Victorinox website.
www.SAKWiki.com is a pretty good resource for SAK info, and it's getting better all the time. As for other manufacturers, well that's what Multitool.org is for!Def
