I have a rite-in-the-rain 3x5 Cover and have modded it a little bit so that I can carry a 3x5 notebook, pen, a Farmer or Soldier, a Fenix E01, a Mini-Bic Lightner, some painkillers, lipstick (Blistex), some band-aids, a handkerchief and a small mirror. It does fit in most of my cargo pockets (they are smaller on womens pants).
I love my Maxpedition EDC Organiser, but to be honest, it is huge and heavy  :ahhh, but this little thing contains all I really need and is compact enough to be carrried nearly everywhere.  :tu:
(I guess now I will have to take some pictures...)
Now I found the time to take some pictures...  :D

Here you can see what I have done: I added a paracord loop to clip a carabiner or something in, and an elastic loop for my lipstick. And I added a joint to get two separate pouches on one side to get my stuff a little bit more organized. Doesn't look very professional  :ahhh, but it works.

Some more pictures, first one is my organizer filled up with all the stuff I carry, and second one is the stuff that is inside.

That works really well - less fussy than the Maxped one I am using.
