Hve you seen his other stuff  :drool:  i saw at least 2 old waves, a cabela's newer wave, a ford ST, a few pst's, and it goes on and on  :ahhh

 :-\  i like watchdog , but its seems sad that 0ver 18s cant make there mind up what they want to collect, its sad when you go onto ebay.com and see all those lovely knives and MT's. and we get pouches and more pouches oh and sharpening stones to sharpen the knives we can buy  :D lucky we have this great site to fur fill our needs  :tu:

one of the ladys said (there is only one reason for having that)  :-\  sad as this is what a lot of people think, but when i started colllecting knives back in the early 80's there didnt seem to be this way of thinking, but then i guess knife crime was not as high then,

And there's the interesting bit.  The NHS figures showed that stabbing were actually decreasing but that didn't stop the government starting a campaign that they though would make them popular.  Oh yes, this one is actually a huge can of worms.

Exactly right Neil. The upshot was that Watchdog managed to buy a flick-knife (and a couple of others) from the US via ebay. They then invited the managing director of ebay UK along to be interviewed, where he announced that they weren't able to tell the difference between legal and illegal knives, so they were banning the sale of ANY knives. I can even recall Nicky Campbell's reaction when he said it - he was totally stunned - it was a completely over the top reaction. As the smurf said it on national television, they had to go through with it.

The law had absolutely nothing to do with banning multitool sales on ebay. It was an ebay executive's knee-jerk reaction to a problem that had many better solutions. The only consolation in all this is that it must have cost ebay quite a bit in lost profits - all self inflicted.

I used to come here a lot.

what did the bo mini end up selling for? Did someone on here get it? I have a real nice one, if someone twisted my arm hard enough I might give mine up!
