Just got a PowerAssist  :D Amazing tool , alot of thought has gone into it .Will take photos later etc.  Initial thoughts are ....  Very well made , very big , very heavy , very strong .

Blade plays not too bad on my one . My only gripe is the safety catch for the serrated blade isnt as sweet in its action as the plain blade one  :( but its functions ok. Love the bigger wire cutters and the gear covers pluse the handle cover is a big improvement on the older versions .

More to follow after I've had a bit more of a play  :D

I keep thinking to get one, but since I already have a powerlock I can't justify spend more to get one with less functionality.  :-\

If you ever need to upgrade your PL then go for a PL 2.0
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.

Mine has the newer plier head so I'm not in a hurry, besides I think the gear covers look goofy (even thou I know how much pain it is to push and turn a screw with the exposed gears).

After alot of thought I'm putting it up for trade  :think: I love the build quality and whats gone into it but just can't see myself EDCing it  :(

I knew I should have gone for the Paratool instead   :twak:

Yes , in the short time I've owned it I got fed up explaining to everyone who saw it that its not a flick knife and is legal to own lol  :D

At least I can tick it off the list of tools I've tried . Hows work , is it less hectic then yesterday ?

its dead mate.
just been out on the police rib to a boat stuck near the top of Breydon. Got there in about 4 mins.
