Bike ride (lots of pics)
on: June 08, 2010, 05:29:08 AM
hi, inspired by some of you posting your trips i decided to share this pics of a recent MTB ride in nevado de toluca national park, its an inactive volcano with two lakes on its crater, at 4,690m its the 4° tallest elevation in mexico, a very nice sunday ride to leave the city behind and enjoy the outdoors in company of some friends. the route we followed is called the "empanizada" 14 km of wide track to reach a really funny single track, very fast and exciting full of up and downs and lots of fun
here the pics enjoy!

my bike  :D

scary! :o :o :D

you can see "la empanizada" in the left going down like a serpent

the fun begins

back in the forest

and finally some swiss friends  :P

no casualties this time :ahhh ;)

I agree. Looks like a lot of hard work, but the scenery would make it a very worthwhile trip.
