Just wanted to say thanks to Dave who suffered going to a damned concert recently 

He most kindly picked somethings there that my wife wanted for her Birthday and thus ensured a happy day in the screwtape household yesterday,

My pleasure mate - it was no trouble (and it was a great gig and night). Spent a while talking to Capt. Sensible on a street corner afterwards too

With hindsight, I should have asked him to autograph it I suppose

Not to worry, he was probably all covered in spit by then if the damned gig's I've been to are anything like the norm,

So it might not have been good to have him touch anything really

The spitting thing seems to have all but disappeared tbh, which is good!

He's actually a lovely bloke the Captain - he was telling us all about his son Syd, who has recently turned 18 and bought his Dad his first pint He's a guitarist too apparently, his Dad is clearly very proud of him.
