So what?  The leather sheath is only the Surge sheath anyway - dead easy to pick up if you really wanted to (which I wouldn't).

Sent it back, not just because of that though. The blade was rubbing every time I opened it 

They don't replace just refund, so I might try again It certainly is a beefy tool
