Used Pulse With Leather sheath
on: August 17, 2010, 07:45:56 PM
I have a good condition LM Pulse with a leather sheath, the only problem is that the pliers are uneven, like someone used the pliers to twist sideways and bent them.  They work, but catch a little bit on the wire cutters.  Everything esle is in good condition as far as i can tell.  The tools will fall out of the handle if you flick it open hard enough, but that might be normal, or maybe you would prefer me tightening them to see if that does something.  Lock up is very solid.  Just replace the plier head, or send it in to Oregon asking them not to replace it if they can't fix it.

I am planning to send it in for warranty repair due to the plier head, but I wanted to offer it up here first, since they might replace it with a fuse or something.  Honestly, i would rather see such a great tool end up in the hands of someone who appreciates the pulse.  If I send it in, I would plan to sell whatever I got back anyways.

So pm me an offer.  I am looking for a Quark AA R5

*Bump

Just adding that the jaws line up so that at least 2/3 are making contact, with just a bit of overhang on either side.  If anyone wants pics for a better idea.

Still looking for the Light, but also looking for a Paratool.

edit:  that last line sounds pretty profound. :ahhh
