Never thought I would say this, but I am starting to want a MUT badly!  I am getting back into shooting and hunting, so my firearms have come out of storage.  I really need a good MT that is made to maintain them.  I do plan on getting an AR15 (3 of my friends have them) so a MUT would fit the bill pretty well.  Just gotta wait until the ridiculous ebay prices go down.

Not that I would or should be pushing other multi-tools, but take a look at the AR Multitasker. There are plier based tools, version 1 and 2 out so far, and soon, two more styles to come out minus the pliers. One is called the TUBE as is a minimalist gun tool, and the other, an essentials tool that is better than the Gerber eFect tool, which is overall, cheaply built.

What I can tell you is that the plier based AR Multitasker is a solid well built piece of kit.

With that said, I still can't wait to get my paws on the 3 versions of the MUT.

If I do end up with an AR15, that tool is definitely coming with it.  Thanks for the heads up Chako, I didn't know much about Multitasker tools so I never would have considered it!

You’re welcome. It is a nice well made tool. Not saying anything negative about the MUT. I am dying to get my paws on them.

If you Google the AR Multitasker, there are some YouTube videos that will give you a closer look at their offerings.

Likewise, Gerber makes an eFECT tool. I just got one myself, but am not overly impressed with it (to be fair, these are first impressions). Seems a bit overpriced for what you get in some respects. Once I get a few more Multitaskers, I am planning on doing a comparison between the armorer centric MTs that I have which also includes the Beretta shotgun tool. Hopefully by that time, I will have me some MUTs thrown in for good effect.
