Cuso thats the thing, it was my first kydex product and I did'nt know how snug the fit was suppose to be. It wasnt untill I decided to post a youtube review of the knife that I understood how it was suppose to fit. I thought it would be a good idea to check and see if there were any new reviews and thats when I put it all together. No I bought it from a sporting goods store. I dont think that should really have any effect their lifetime warranty from factory defects.

So heres the latest update I've recieved from SOG. Notice that theres no mention of replacing my sheath

Jonathan

Thank you for sending this information along to me.  I agree that the interaction you had with SOG was less than desirable.  I will make sure that our custoemr service stuff is aware of this and we will make steps to make sure it does not happen again.

Thank you

While technically true, a good company should be able to stand behind their products especially in the light of what could be deemed a manufacturing defect (or in this case, a design flaw because I've heard/seen/read plenty of complaints about Sog sheaths for their fixed blade knives).  Doubly important for sheaths on tactical fixed blade knives because the sheath forms an integral part of the carry and use of the product.

Considering the customer service experiences I've had with other knife companies including Spyderco, Leatherman and CRKT (I'm tough on my knives), this kind of stinks, and I'm sorry you've had to deal with it jonsforeal.

Update!!! So I filed with the BBB and about two weeks later got a call from the Product President of SOG. He was great, very humble and easy going. All in all they are replacing my sheath.
