Something odd from Fenix!

I bought an LD10 body and tail cap for my LD20 so I could go back to using it as a pocket light for the summer months, but the threads were different!

The LD10's body threads we're much finer than that of the relatively course threaded LD20's bezel

I've emailed Heinnies to see if it's just a one off, but was wondering if any of you had found the same on yours?

Yep.  Fenix have recently improved their threads w/a courser, squared-thread design.

Fenix lights with the new thread have been out for a while, so it seems a bit strange that the additional bodies that are readily available for the older series are not available for the new ones.

I would suggest you contact Rob Balzan at thephotonshop.co.uk on the availability of bodies for the new Fenix's. Rob is the UK distributor for Fenix.
