Hello from greece
on: July 02, 2010, 06:33:51 PM
Hello,

I am from Greece and at last made it to this forum. Some people might already know me from Sosak, where I have been for a couple of years. Anyway, I have noticed some action here on the Swiss forum, and I said to join the party.

This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

G'day & welcome mate  :D :D

So you are a bit of a fan of the Trekker/Trailmaster  :pok: :D :D Pics  :pok: :pok: :pok: :D :D

Well yes, the Trekker/Trailmaster was my first larger SAK and I have carried the OH model for a couple of years. Later on, it was clear that the wood saw is redundant in the city i am in, while such a big knife failed to go unnoticed if i had to use it. I also got the SwissTool RS which has a saw plus many other things. So i dropped the OHT in favor of a combo with a smaller knife which is either Wenger Evo 10 or Victorinox Climber and the SwissTool RS. This has covered all my needs and i am sticking with it. If I am in an environment I might need a larger knife, i also have a Helle fixed blade.

My EDC OHT had been neglected for this past year and i sold it on ebay together with the sheath a couple of months ago when i cleaned all the knives i am not interested in. I still have one of the newer style NIB as well as the trailmaster/trekker, again NIB. I haven't decided what to do with them so far but if my taste doesn't change, they might find their way to ebay too soon. I really like them, but i don't see myself using them for the years to come while they were bought to be used.

I chose the nickname from what i was carrying when i joined SOSAK.
