Got myself a new Wave .

I stumbled upon one at the right price , an grabbed it . The first Leatherman in about two years . F/F is OK , but not as good as I recall on the pre 04 Waves . The eyeglass driver is a plus , I'll be using the UTA and 1/4" hex for any serious driving . It's slightly larger than the pre 04 model - my old pre 04 sheaths are a very tight fit . There is some beadblasting on the master and serrated blades on the present model , practically an invite to rust .

All in all I'm glad i picked it up , but suspect it will only see limited use . Probably for fishing , and as a politically correct Tactical .

There damn well should be a Wave owners society ! Very Iconic tool !
