Victorniox Lined Cadet - anyone interested? (eBay)
on: August 14, 2010, 10:06:16 PM
Ran across this auction last night.  The photos are rough and the description is not very promising, but with some cleaning, and honing, this could be a keeper.  I figured I'd share the link, as I am not really looking at collecting anymore Cadets (3 is enough!).

Yes, but for someone who wants a cleanup knife, this could go for a 3rd of the cost, 10 USD.  I figured someone may be interested in picking it up (I am not the seller).

So long as those scratches on the main blade aren't too deep it should tidy up into a nice little user.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

So, I sent the seller a message asking why shipping was so high (almost $9.00) for a 2 oz item going USPS first class.  His reply was basically, "If you don't like it, move on."  I was going to bid on this item too, but passed cause he was an okole puka (Hawaiian for a certain portal into the nether regions...).  Now I looked and see that nobody bid on it at all.  Good! >:D

If I was at the computer at the time I would have bid on it, just to have some Alox to practice on.
