LOL I saw that ad a while back and wanted to tell the seller to stop advertising them as being Victorinox SAKs. But technically he didn't.

The red toothpick ( correction )  tip tweezer caught my eye.  The guy said "give me $7 for it" to which I replied "will ya take $3?" and $5 later I was pretty stoked.

Its really neat.  Glad to be in the Club.

Nice! But isn't that the tweezers in red since the other side obviously has the toothpick?
I think if you try to sell the tweezers alone you can probably get more than what you paid for the whole thing :D

I figured I'd jump from lurker to poster and introduce myself. I'm Rob and have been a loyal Swiss Army user for decades, but only collecting for the last couple of years. I decided to post because I just managed to get my hands on what I believe is a 1957 or thereabouts Champion and wanted to see if anyone could shoot down my dating. This seems to be the place to find out. It's open rivets with the Victoria Officier back tang. Based on my research, that stamp started in 57, but 57 was the last year with both bail and open rivets. The other reason to post is whatever the year, I'm giddy as a schoolgirl to get it in my hands and had to share with someone. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ppuAz3tPaJ02HnFf2

Beautiful!  Welcome,  Robert Vaughan!
You're right about the exposed rivets and the phillips started in 52.
I'd say 52-57

Then there is this one  ??? ??? ???

If the Swiss Made tang came out in 2011 and the hook started in 1991??? This appears to be a modern Climber with no hook!?!?

Finally done with my Whittling Cadet! It has gone through Whittling Recruit v1 to 5 and now i got to put some nice alox sides on it!

This version was excluding a wood saw. 84 mm with five layers was kinda bulky  :)

These just came in. I'm very happy with the white one. I still "need" a white Huntsman from the other So Chic series. The black one is actually a spare.

Old pic of the ones I already had:
