What makes the Electrician specific for folks of the trade?

I like the blue yellow scales BTW.

It's sheepsfoot blade, which is intended for the scraping, stripping, and slitting of wire and cables.   But I'm sure a lot of people who do electrical work I know would chose the Harvester, Pruner, or Rancher because of its hawkbill blade. I would, as it's a bit more versatile, and am getting ready to purchase a Harvester.

I'm a big fan of the pruner blade  :tu:

Just a side note (maybe not for you, I just leave it here, in case someone is searching for it): today victorinox sells it with the name of “Swiss Army 7”

Found a Wenger Evo ST10 on the flea market today for the equivalent of $11, I couldn't leave it there. Slightly worn scales, and a beat up blade (some scratches and a bent tip), otherwise in good condition. I guess I could straighten out the tip and sand&polish the blade, but I'm wondering if Victorinox takes Wenger models as well for "spa treatment", because that might be a better option. Any experiences or solid info on that?

Not solid info but i gather they do indeed repair Wengers, assuming they have parts needed left that is, shoot them an e-mail then you will know for sure :tu:

Picked up this right hand Matterhorn plus to go with my left hand version  :salute:

Picked up a Wenger PTC.  Very neat tool.  That cap lifter is a beefy tool for such a small SAK.  I see now what AWL the fuss is with the awl.  I'm happy theres only one blade.  I dig the size of the tool a lot.  I also really like Wengers T&T placement more and more.

It's an excellent tool. I'm planning on transplanting a few of those tools into an Executive at some point, to combine the strengths of the Wenger with the Vic scissors and excellent nail file. Crackout did something similar a while back.

Its used but in very nice shape.  Only had to give it a good clean/sterilize and sharpen the blade.  Just cut some Moleskin for my hike bag with the scissors.  Easy peasy.
