I'm afraid you're right. I had to double check that. Only the Electrician is available, the Apprentice is no longer listed. I'm glad I got one in time.

Got a Bantam as my prize for the pumpkin carving contest today.  Nice little knife.  Ash also sent a honkin' big monkey-fist with a cobra weave lanyard on it; very cool!

I also ordered an Apprentice!

That will pretty much be all I collect/buy except for a Cadet II.

How bright is the light on yours?  On mine it's just bright enough to illuminate the tip of the bit driver in a dark space, and not much more.

Mine's about the same.  Definitely no replacement for a dedicated keychain light.  The magnifying glass will will come in handy though, I've used the one on my Explorer to read directions and small print on products at the store.

 :sak:Long ago I decided never to buy a LED or Clock etc SAK. The reason? I want my SAKS to be waterproof. You can always have a separate minimaglight (then) or a LEDlight (now) and a Casio, Suunto, Tissot Touch or whatever.

I am considering getting a custom sak or Explorer for the mag glass so I can look at coins, jewelry and other small stamped items as well as fine print...
