Can we see the pic of the Director? :pok:  :D what price did you get on it? Do they have some more?

Here it is :)

It was the only one they had, apart from a couple of Directors with a guilloché pattern on the scales.
I was there with a couple of friends and they bought one of those for my birthday (which unfortunately won't be until April 2013 :( ).

I payed appr. €10 for it which is less than the price of a regular Classic :D

The Director is a cool knife but expensive, you are lucky to bought it with that discount.
What horn SAK's did they have? I maybe buy one, do the have a site? :D

Actually I have been looking for a cheap Director for quite some time since it has been missing in my 74mm collection for years. So I'm very glad I found this one.

The only horn scaled SAK I can remember was a 1980s Spartan (for €50). I almost bought that one. It's the one in the picture. That Mother of Pearl Ambassador was gorgeous too but at €90 I found it too expensive.

The store was part of the "Designer Outlet" in Roermond, the Netherlands: http://www.mcarthurglen.com/nl/designer-outlet-roermond/nl/merken/victorinox/
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

NICE :2tu: and at a great price. I wouldn't mind a Director with guilloché pattern at that price. ;) They usually go for cca $50 used if I remember correctly from when I was following them on ebay. I found one available at a internet shop but for 60€ without shipping. :ahhh If you happen to go back there and find another one of those at that price, I wouldn't say no. :D

Stainless steel Brokers from Felinevet (thanks, Tim!) plus few other new 58 mm little guys: black Classic from Italy, custom white MiniChamp and a SwissBianco sunset orange alox Rambler

Nothing unusual here, but new to me and very much liked - because is red alox, because of the soft and perfectly fitting leather case and (again, personal preference) because it has no key ring. A nice SAK in a subtle kind of way. My only other alox SAK in this size was a SwissBianco Micro-Farmer and wanted to try one of these limited Cadets before they are gone. Good that I did, I like this SAK.

A bit of cross posting from the Blues thread. I think this beauty deserves it. Custom Electrician superbly done by Robert/Syph007. Originally this was a vintage plain Electrician, the heavier main blade, electrician's blade, the unpolished can opener and the scales (now in blue HAIII) come from there. Plus: saws, small spear point blade and scissors.

Looks good!  Gotta ask, why three blades?

Everything I see from Syph007 is awesome and one of these days I will get one made from him.  He does a great job!  :D

Here's a weird one. The compliment to a CT34. It has the tools a CT34 doesn't.

Is it self made?
Where comes the serrated blade from?

Yes self made. The serrated blade came from a Weekender.

I'm also looking for a Weekender to create a double blade knife with straight and a serrated edge.
Say my name.

Gonna be my last acquisition for quite a while, but I've got a CT Lite with translucent emerald scales on the way from GigaHz... should be here in a couple of days.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyone know where I can get some translucent emerald scales for a cybertool (91mm)?
:)

It is a nice idea to have two SAKs with complementary tools. You get all the tools and everyone of them is lighter and easier to grip and use.
I would carry a Swisschamp and an AntiSwisschamp with CT driver system, pruner, electrician's blade, serrated blade, spatula, nail file (Cadet type) LED light, combo tool, in line awl (Pioneer type) and whatever else. If I ever do a modification this will be my first, provided I'll find the blades. One could make a double seath and call it Victorinox Twins (not identical twins of course).

I have a used weekender i would not mind to trade or sell cheaply. It needs to be sharpened.

And to stay on Topic, my latest SAK is a red Alox hollow rivet Vic soldier with the WK stamp.
I am unsure if i leave it (ab)used as it is or just use teh nicely worn scales with the toosl of a new soldier.

CVH had some for sale many years ago. I bought a bunch and used them all. I haven't seen any in quite a while. I just got a set, but they are not pluses.

Love it!  This one does not fit in with your collection... I think you should drop it in the mail to me.  :D  Technically I think these are considered 75mm.

I think I saw one like this posted before, but here is a 84mm Watchmaker with Nylon scales, T&T, but most interesting is the Swiss Federal Sheild.

Interesting! What does the tang stamp say? The Watch case opener looks more like the Wenger style opener, Watchmaker 85, with more belly.
