Spartan leather sheath

I've tried to find a supplier for leather (anyone know an international place to get some?) for a long time with no luck. The other day I came across an old leather sheath missing the knife int he garage, and thought I could try using that. I removed the existing stitches and soaked it, then clamped it around a wooden stand-in for my Spartan until it dried. Used my Dremel to make holes around the edge, then stitched it together using paracord. Added a belt loop and voila. Think it looks good for being the first time I ever work with leather

Anyone know about the "where to get leather" bit? I've looked everywhere including ebay, but I think I must be searching for the wrong phrases
