iOS 4.1 available next week for iPhone and iPod touch, free download. ( iOS is Apple's mobile operating system used on iPad, iPhone, iTouch, etc )
v:4.2 will come a later this year - November and "it's all about iPad." Bringing everything to iPad. iOS 4.1 with multitasking, folders, gamecenter, all of it. Plus: wireless printing!

iOS 4.2 on iPad looks, well, just like iOS 4 on iPhone.
Steve said it's for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch—so it's a "unifying" release ( 4.2 ), in that all three products will be running the same version of iOS.

AirPlay feature on AppleTV - Stream content from iOS device to an AppleTV. "So I've got my iPad , and I go to my video player, and I've got one of my favorite movies and it plays on the TV. NO more saving to Apple TV, itall comes off you computer, iPod, etc.
This is why the ATV no longer stores movies/TV shows on it's hard disk. Now you can stream it all from all your devices
I would buy an Apple TV just for the AirPlay feature. I can currently connect my iPad to my TV with a $49 cable, but this is far slicker.
