Cores going clearance at Wal-mart 29.99

I picked up a Core last night at wal-mart for 29.99. Tags had 57.99 then 45.99 and now 29.99 on it.

Has the (p)leather sheath...smells like a pair of Payless shoes.

Doh, I just checked the Wal-Mart closest to me and they don't have that deal or any Leatherman Core for sale.  I guess I can call some of the other ones and see if they have any.  Was yours in the sporting goods section or somewhere else?

The local Wal-Mart only lower their prices on the Core to 45 and change. They are now replaced with the SuperTool 300.

Same here, 'cept the supposed Core is actually a mislabeled Skeletool.

Oh no, sorry, not being clear enough. The Skeletool in itself is normal, it just has a Core sticker on it.
