I guess i am lucky my wife bought me a center tool box for Christmas to put on my nightstand. She told me i could put my cute little red knifes in it as well as my other toys.
I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Well just after I typed that up, I got to some deep thinking. As you know, my space was getting limited. I wanted to buy another unit the same as I have and place them next to each other. Well, trying to figure out a space for both units has been very challenging. This morning, it came to me. I moved my first cabinet out of the bedroom and placed it where I kept the collection. Then I moved the collection to the bedroom. I figured I have enough space for another unit now...which I bought at Sears today. However, they didn't have any in stock and so I should be getting the expansion set on the 30th. Now get this, I had to pay for it or they would not have ordered it for me. I argued with them that this was a big box store, and I should not have to pay for an item that should be in stock. They told me it was like buying online. I told them that when I do that, I get it delivered to my door. We argued for a good 4 minutes over my having to finance their store etc...but they had me over a barrel. I did tear the whole city apart for the best tool cabinet and chest for my needs, and I wanted another one...so I paid in the end. Stuff like that only reinforces why I don't go to Sears often. :D

Still in the process of moving things around. Man oh man what a PIta!

So, now the collection resides in the bedroom.

Solution:  Get rid of the boat; fill void with collection. ;) :D

Or,

Solution 2:  Use boat as giant cabinet for storing collection. :D

Looks great Allan! :tu: :tu: :tu: I like the toolbox, but I like the glass display case even more 8) You need to put up a few of those Leatherman decals on the glass to really set it off! :pok: :D

Oh, and how about getting that spinner display up and running too! :pok: :pok: ;)

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Where do you guys get the time and money to start having a "storage problem"? How long have you guys been collecting? Its taken me 4 years to have 4 leatherman tools.  What are some tips and tricks?

Thats how I got the tool I have now.  Bought skeletool for $20.  Traded for a wave.  Found an old broken wave at work.  tried to fix it.  Sent it to leatherman now its as good as new. Bought a core full price but traded it for a surge.  Bought a juice cs4 online for $30.

I am just amazed at teh collection some of you guys have.  It blows my mind.  Congrats.
