We were looking back over our family tree tonight and checking out why a couple of them got deported to Aus. Get this, seven years deportation for stealing a duck!

I think all top motorbike racers are a bit MAD. There have been a lot of pretty handy Aussie bike racers

My favorite mad man on a motor was the GO-SHOW Anthony Gobert , man that fella could ride, the way he got his Kwaka around a corner with everything sliding wildly was mesmerizing

. Shame the talented Aussie just did not have the discipline to match his talent

At school we were always taught about the poor old poms who got sent to Oz for stealing a loaf of bread.
The text books should of read "there was the case of James Longbottom-Smith-Bee who was sent to Australia for stealing a duck.James plan came unstuck when the duck tried to eat the loaf of bread he had stolen earlier & which he had hidden in his long johns ."

It's the kind of crazy I like though, maybe it is caused by the heat

My uncle's ancestor was also sent there for stealing, a pig in his case. He was eventually pardoned and given a nice little patch of land to start again on. Being a raging alcoholic, he swapped it for a barrel of rum legend has it. That little patch of land is now slap bang in the middle of down town Sydney
